Arch, THANK YOU for expressing a solid roundup of what makes DT honest. Sure, I don’t agree with all his stances, but unlike his detractors in the gopE, the media and the dems, there is NOTHING seemingly nefarious or dishonest about how he feels. Indeed, thoughts, while expressed in a very stream-of-consciousness manner, that very manner, so unscripted, comes off as very much from the gut, and again HONEST.
Whether I agree with all his positions (I certainly DON’T) or not, I prefer his instinctual honesty, brash as it is, to the scripted LIARS on both sides of the aisle — who are, in fact, just two sides of the SAME pitted, rust-covered coin.

Well said Arch. I’m not crazy about Donald Trump, but I don’t hate him either. In fact, I’ve slowly come round to thinking Trump is exactly what America needs in a leader. He’s far from perfect, but then, he is in my estimation, light years better than Obama on his best day. I have always been and still am a Rand Paul supporter. But as matters have evolved, Trump is the only realistic candidate left who can win the presidency and defeat Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Our nations problems are the result of politicians. Incompetent politicians. Trump is no politician as he himself has said many times. What America needs right now is everything Trump brings to the office of president in his resume. America needs a tough no nonsense competent leader. Trump may very well be that man despite his few shortcomings. The fact the status quo Washington Machine politicians hate him (and Cruz as well) is good evidence we may have the right man for the job.
