My Testimony on Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey

August 18, 2025 by Arch Kennedy

I had the privilege of joining Allie Beth Stuckey on her show Relatable, where I shared the story of how God pulled me out of brokenness and gave me new life in Christ. This was one of the most personal interviews I’ve ever done, because it wasn’t about politics or culture alone — it was about my testimony.

Watch the full interview below.

From the Gay Lifestyle to Rock Bottom

For years I searched for identity and belonging in the gay lifestyle. What I thought would bring happiness left me empty. The world promised freedom, but all it gave me was loneliness and pain.

On top of that came alcoholism. I tried to numb the brokenness with a bottle, but instead it only deepened the despair. I know what it’s like to hit the bottom and to wonder if there’s any way back.

Bible Study and the Moment of Salvation

Everything changed when I opened the Word of God in Bible study. Scripture cut through the lies I had believed for so long. It was in those moments — sitting under God’s truth — that I realized I was being saved.

Jesus Christ met me in my sin, forgave me, and gave me new life. I wasn’t just turning over a new leaf; I was born again. That’s the difference between religion and the gospel.

Why My Interview with Allie Beth Stuckey Matters Today

In my conversation with Allie Beth Stuckey, we didn’t shy away from the hard parts of my story. But the most important takeaway is this: the gospel is still powerful to save anyone who believes.

A Christian testimony is a personal story of how Christ transformed a life, showing the power of the gospel. That’s what this interview is — a declaration that Jesus still changes lives, no matter how far someone has wandered.

Hope for Those Searching

If you’re struggling with identity, addiction, or the weight of your past, I want you to know there is hope. Christ is enough. His Word is true. And His grace is greater than your sin.

If this interview encourages you, please share it with someone who needs to hear the hope of Jesus Christ today. And if you want to explore more of Allie’s work, visit Allie Beth Stuckey’s YouTube channel.
