Grudgingly I watched every night of the Democrat Convention and here is what I came up with.
Monday:
We got to hear from an illegal immigrant, Astrid Silva, while she blasted Donald Trump with half truths and lies that he wants to separate families like hers. In her own words, “Hillary Clinton understands that this is not who we are as a country.” So the “narrative” of the first night is that it is ok to break to law and come to the U.S. ILLEGALLY. The Democrats seem to always leave out that little pesky fact that immigrants are welcome here LEGALLY.
Next on the night’s agenda was Bernie Sanders, who somehow all of the sudden agreed with everything Hillary Clinton does and endorsed her. Never mind, afterwards, he declared he is going back to being an “independent” and that before his speech he was singing quite a different tune about Hillary and crony capitalism.
And the grand finale of the night was Michelle Obama, who looked very nice and had some good words at times. Only, racism had to enter the picture. She states that the White House was built by slaves when we know that is a half truth. It was actually built by slaves, local white laborers and artisans from Maryland and Virginia, as well as immigrants from Ireland, Scotland and other European nations. And secondly, she states how proud she is of her country although when she entered the White House, she stated it was the “first time she had been proud” of her country.
Tuesday:
We get to hear from “Mothers of the Movement” and learn about how bad law enforcement is and what a big problem we have with cops, who are out to get the Black man. The “narrative” of the night was that we have a big problem with accountability with cops and something has to change. The fact is, cops are HIGHLY accountable under the justice system if they kill a person whether justifiably or unjustifiably. But let’s just create our own agenda, shall we? We got to hear more about how guns are the problem. Never mind that we already have federal laws requiring gun shops to do background checks and never mind that most gun criminals arrested got their guns by theft or black market. Again, the agenda was quite obvious.
Lastly, we get to hear Bill Clinton talk about his wonderful loving relationship with Hillary and about how he “met a girl” with “big, blonde hair, big glasses”. Not sure about the “blonde” part, but oh well. You would have thought they had the greatest love affair in history. That sounds nice but hard to believe with all of his other “affairs”.
Wednesday:
This was a winner for sure. We get to hear more about gun violence from family members of victims of the only TWO shootings I can think of that were NOT muslim over the past few years. Sandy Hook Elementary and Mother Emanuel Church shooting where “white boys” did the killing. Let’s leave out the fact that since Obama has been in office, we have had TWENTY FIVE islamic terrorist attacks in the U.S.
And then we had Drunk Uncle Joe who got to get a few words in, and then, of course, it was Obama’s turn. And, as usual, we got to hear Obama mention himself 119 times throughout his speech. Nothing really new to learn from him that night.
Thursday:
First off, we hear from Khizr Khan, whose son, Humayun, was one of 14 American Muslims who died serving the United States in the ten years after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. While this was tragic and Khizr Khan may be a great guy, it is not islam that makes him great. The agenda of the Democrats this night was to portray islam as a religion of peace and that we cannot judge the few radicals, who pervert the religion. Unfortunately, the Democrats and in my opinion even the Republicans have this all wrong. “Radicals” are actually “perfect” muslims doing exactly what their prophet, muhammad, instructed. Omar Mateen had never killed before either, but he eventually had a calling for jihad as happens daily around the world. The point is, good, peaceful muslims are not good because of islam. They are good because they themselves are not following the doctrine correctly and encompass the goodness as an inherent trait.
We then got to hear from Chelsea as she introduced her mother. I had one big problem with her speech. She states that her mother was so loving and although very busy in politics, always had so much time for her when she was a child. Well, if you listen to Dick Morris, who worked with the Clintons at the time Chelsea was growing up, you hear quite a different story that seems more believable. You be the judge and see for yourself. Finally, Hillary was the grand finale, and well, if you follow me regularly, you know what I think of her.
So in conclusion, there was a definite agenda and narrative of the Democrat Convention and it was full of lies and half truths. It is my belief that if you do enough reading on your own, you see what an evil the Clintons have been and the deceit that encompasses their political careers and how extreme left the Democrat Party has become. My hope and prayer is that enough people realize this by November.
