The Russia collusion narrative fell apart. To save face Michael Cohen pled guilty to a non-campaign finance violation to obtain a lesser sentence. Part of that deal is for him to go before Congress and slander the President. That is what is happening this morning before Congress.
How will any of this help the American people? The Democrats have rolled out Medicare for all and the Green New Deal with top tax rates at 70%. They tell us these policies will solve every problem and that the world will end in 12 years without them.
Why are the Democrats not pursuing these policies to give the American people what they want and save the planet? They control the house and the media says the President is so unpopular and that the Republican Senators up for re-election in 2020 are on the run to save their seats.
Wouldn’t this be an ideal time to focus on these great policies to save the planet and give the American people what they are clamoring for? Surely, any resistance from the Senate and President would spell doom at the ballot box for them in 2020! AOC is “the boss” of the party and could force a vote.
The truth is, that the Russia narrative has failed. The first two months of the House controlled by the Democrats, the announcements of the 1,565 Democrat candidates for President in 2020, and AOC as “the boss”, have been epic unmitigated disasters for the Democrats’ prospects in 2020. Add in the infanticide and antisemitism and it just gets worse.
Their only hope is to drive down Trump’s approval numbers to make him lose his support from his base and drag down Republicans across the country. Trump’s base knows he likes flashy woman and that he has paid off women to be quiet. He did it with his money, unlike Congress who does it with ours. The Clinton impeachment backfired on Republicans and this will on the Democrats!
Ummm. You said Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to a , “non-campaign finance violation.” I don’t think that’s correct.
