This article is the narrative the Democrats & media wanted the Coronavirus to create. That Trump’s re-election strengths are damaged and now there is a case for Joe Biden.
Trump was positioned well in early February to be re-elected. The Democrats were struggling to count votes in Iowa. Pete Buttigieg and Bernie Sanders were the front runners and the most unelectable. The three pillars of Trump’s re-election at the beginning of February were; 1) strong economy, 2) running against socialism, & 3) draining the swamp in DC.
Even if the economy and stock market are not fully recovered it does not prevent Trump from running on it. This crisis proves Trump was right about China and that the US must manufacture products that are key to our national security. China will have to be dealt with harshly. Joe Biden is obviously in cognitive decline. His son Hunter took 15 billion from China. Trump can run against that easily and that he was right about China.
It is clear that Bernie Sanders will not be the nominee and it will be Joe Biden. The argument against Democratic Socialism is not taken away from Trump, because [Trump] won’t be running against Bernie Sanders. The Democrats need Bernie Sanders supporters especially the squad to support Joe Biden. Much of Bernie Sanders’s agenda especially on healthcare and climate will be part of Joe Biden’s campaign platform. Trump will call that out and run against it easily.
Trump still can run on draining the swamp while asking people to trust the government. The DC swamp is the reason why the US has allowed much of its supply chain to be manufactured overseas and in China. The cause of this crisis is found in the DC swamp.
I remain skeptical that this huge turn of events is a coincidence. At the very least this was incompetence on the part of China that the deep state here weaponized to take out Trump. It could also be China intentionally letting this get out of control then export it globally to cause a financial collapse and damage Trump’s ability to be re-elected. Regardless, it won’t work. Trump still has a strong platform for his re-election.
